JERSEY CITY, NJ – September 24, 2019 – Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC (“Lord Abbett”), an independent, privately held investment management firm, congratulates Yoana Koleva for winning the 2019 Women in Asset Management Award in the Bond Manager category. The award was given at a ceremony at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York on Sept. 12. Koleva won the award in the Bond Manager category from a shortlist of 10 highly successful female investment professionals.

Koleva joined Lord Abbett in 2011 and manages the Ultra Short Bond Fund and Ultra Short Bond institutional strategy. Prior to her current role, she worked as a research analyst on the credit research team.

Lord Abbett Portfolio Manager Annika Lombardi was also nominated for the same award. Lombardi joined the firm in 2017 and manages the Global Bond Fund. Previously, she served as Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Janus Capital International.

Together, both Koleva and Lombardi have demonstrated that Lord Abbett’s values of excellence, responsibility, transparency, and collaboration are alive and well. Equally important, we believe their achievements are further proof of the fact that diverse teams are better teams.
