CCPA Job Applicant Privacy Notice
Summary
This privacy notice addresses Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC’s (“Lord Abbett”) requirements to provide certain notices and other information pursuant to those applicants covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
I. Introduction
As part of any recruitment process, Lord Abbett (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes personal information relating to job applicants. This Privacy Notice sets out the categories of your personal information we collect and the purposes for which the categories of personal information shall be used, in accordance with the CCPA.
By “personal information” we mean any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. By consumer, we mean a natural person who is a California resident, however identified, including by any unique identifier. Personal information does not include consumer information that is deidentified or aggregate consumer information, such as data from equal opportunities monitoring carried out on an anonymized basis.
