David J. Linsen
David J. Linsen, CFA
Partner & Director of Equities

David Linsen is responsible for all aspects of Lord Abbett’s equity investment activities, including portfolio management of U.S., international, and global equities; global equity research; and equity trading. In addition, he is a member of the Investment Leadership Team, as well as the Strategic Allocation Committee.

 

Mr. Linsen joined Lord Abbett in 2001 and was named Partner in 2010. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director of Global Equity Research where he provided guidance to the research analysts and oversight of the rigorous process involved in identifying securities for equity portfolios managed by the firm. Prior to that, he served as Senior Research Analyst and later served as lead Portfolio Manager of the large cap growth equity strategy. He also served as Portfolio Manager for the mid cap growth and growth equity strategies. His prior experience includes serving as Research Analyst of Restaurants & Gaming at JP Morgan and Research Analyst of Restaurants at Raymond James. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1996.

 

He earned a BS in finance from Rutgers University. He also is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
