Stephen Hillebrecht, CFA

Stephen Hillebrecht helps drive the development and communication of information regarding the firm’s investment capabilities, strategies and market outlook to clients and prospects across the U.S. Retail, Institutional, and International markets. Mr. Hillebrecht also participates in product development and actively monitors industry activity to ensure Lord Abbett continues to offer competitive solutions in the marketplace to meet investor needs.
Mr. Hillebrecht joined Lord Abbett in 2005. Prior to his current role, he worked in various capacities at the firm, including Fixed Income Product Strategist and as the Director of the Portfolio Specialist Group. His previous experiece includes several positions in fixed income sales and trading, including Vice President in the Private Asset Management group at ING Barings in New York. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1991.
He earned a BA in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in finance and international business from New York University. He also is a holder of a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® designation
