Rory S. Melick

Rory Melick is responsible for enhancing our employee experience through people strategy design and development, performance management and talent alignment to strategy, learning initiatives, and engagement of our employees to embrace our values and achieve our vision. In addition, he is responsible for integrating our people initiatives with new and emerging technologies, as well as for overseeing our benefits and employee relations activities. He also serves on the firm's Leader Development Committee.
Mr. Melick joined Lord Abbett in 2018. His prior experience includes serving as Director/Manager at PwC; Group Remuneration and Reward Manager at Toll Holding and Manager, Regional Reward at National Australia Bank. He has worked in the financial services industry since 2002.
He earned a Bachelor in economics and finance from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Commerce in professional accounting from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He also is a holder of the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
