Kristen Maple is the Chief Impact Officer for Lord Abbett. In this role, she is responsible for creating an environment that upholds our principles-based, performance-oriented, and purpose-driven culture to ensure the peak performance of the firm. To achieve this goal, Ms. Maple is actively involved in most of the firm’s leadership and governance committees: as a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee, as co-chair of the Leader Development Committee, and as an advisor to the Partnership Committee.
Ms. Maple is also responsible for leading Human Capital Management, which oversees talent acquisition, employee experience, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and organizational change. In addition, she is focused on the firm’s leadership and culture initiatives, sustainability efforts, strategic planning and implementation, and enterprise communications.
Ms. Maple joined Lord Abbett in 2000 and was named Partner in 2015. Prior to her current role, she led the Marketing Communications Group, overseeing marketing campaign development and execution, project management, and production. Previously, Ms. Maple worked in various roles within Institutional Investor Services, managing different aspects of sales and client service support for the firm’s institutional clients. Her previous experience includes roles in the finance division at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and in the Defined Contribution Recordkeeping department at Deutsche Bank. She has worked in the financial services industry since 1995.
She earned a BS in business administration from the University of Delaware.
