Jarrod R. Sohosky, CIMA
Jarrod Sohosky is the National Sales Manager responsible for Lord Abbett’s retail sales team in the Western region of the United States. In this role, he oversees the sales activities of the regional managers working with financial advisors, investment advisors, and wealth managers to identify investment solutions for their clients that best address portfolio needs. In addition, he is responsible for the Independent RIA & Family Office team. In this role, Jarrod oversees and guides the Regional Directors as they partner with the largest RIAs in their assigned territories to generate sales and cultivate new relationships.
Mr. Sohosky, who has more than 20 years of sales and management experience, joined Lord Abbett in 1997 on the firm’s Internal Sales and Marketing Desk. He was later promoted to Regional Manager, residing in Michigan and managing all wirehouse and regional broker/dealer relationships within this region. In 2003, he was promoted to Southern Division Director, and in 2005, he was named a Partner. In 2008, he took on the responsibility for the firm’s sales efforts throughout the West, and in 2014, he was asked to lead the national retail sales team.
Mr. Sohosky is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), an industry group that educates and lobbies for standardization of reporting, analysis, and ethics in investment management. He also is a member of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) and Money Management Institute (MMI) which are committed to the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility and ethical conduct to create the most successful outcomes for investors.
He earned a BS in marketing from the David Glass School of Business at Missouri State University. He also is a holder of the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
