Growth Leaders Fund Note about Risk: The value of investments in equity securities will fluctuate in response to general economic conditions and to changes in the prospects of particular companies, including market, liquidity, currency, and political risks. Mid and small cap company stocks tend to be more volatile and may be less liquid than large cap company stocks. Mid and small cap companies also may have more limited product lines, markets, or financial resources and typically experience a higher risk of failure than large companies. However, larger companies may have slower rates of growth than smaller successful companies. Investments in growth companies can be more sensitive to the company's earnings and more volatile than the stock market in general. The Fund engages in active and frequent trading of its securities, which may result in increased transaction fees, reduced investment performance, and higher taxes. These factors can adversely affect Fund performance.

Dividend Growth Fund Note about Risk:  The value of investments in equity securities will fluctuate in response to general economic conditions and to changes in the prospects of particular companies, including market, liquidity, currency, and political risks. Mid cap company stocks tend to be more volatile and may be less liquid than large cap company stocks. Mid cap companies typically experience a higher risk of failure than large cap companies. However, larger companies may be unable to respond quickly to certain market developments and may have slower rates of growth as compared to smaller successful companies. A company's dividend payments may vary over time, and there is no guarantee that a company will pay a dividend at all. These factors can adversely affect Fund performance.

Diversification does not protect against losses in a declining market.

The S&P 500® Index is widely regarded as the standard for measuring large cap U.S. stock market performance and includes a representative sample of leading companies in leading industries.

The Russell 1000® Growth Index measures the performance of those Russell 1000 companies with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth values.

Morningstar Rank is the total return percentile rank within each Morningstar Category. The highest (or most favorable) percentile rank is zero and the lowest (or least favorable) percentile rank is 100. Historical percentile ranks are based on a snapshot of a fund at the time of calculation.

The Morningstar Rating for funds, or "star rating", is calculated for managed products (including mutual funds, variable annuity and variable life subaccounts, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and separate accounts) with at least a three-year history. Exchange-traded funds and open-ended mutual funds are considered a single population for comparative purposes. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a managed product's monthly excess performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of products in each product category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars, and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a managed product is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five-, and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. The weights are: 100% three-year rating for 36-59 months of total returns, 60% five-year rating/40% three-year rating for 60-119 months of total returns, and 50% 1 -year rating/30% five-year rating/20% three-year rating for 120 or more months of total returns. While the 10-year overall star rating formula seems to give the most weight to the 10-year period, the most recent three-year period actually has the greatest impact because it is included in all three rating periods. Ratings do not take into account the effects of sales charges and loads.

Morningstar rated the Lord Abbett Growth Leaders Fund class F share 5, 5 and 5 stars among 1138, 1024 and 761 Large Growth Funds for the overall rating and the 3, 5 and 10 year periods ended 6/30/2021, respectively. Morningstar Rating for other share classes may have different performance characteristics.

Lipper Information:

Lipper Rank is the total return percentile rank within each Lipper Category. The highest (or most favorable) percentile rank is zero and the lowest (or least favorable) percentile rank is 100. Historical percentile ranks are based on a snapshot of a fund at the time of calculation.
