JERSEY CITY, NJ – September 25, 2025 – Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC (“Lord Abbett”), an independent, privately held investment management firm, is pleased to announce an extension of its partnership with golfer Ben Griffin following his strongest season to date and as he represents the United States in this week’s Ryder Cup.

Griffin has notched an exceptional 2025 season, earning two PGA TOUR victories: the Zurich Classic of New Orleans (alongside Andrew Novak) and the Charles Schwab Challenge. His consistent play has pushed him steadily upward in the world rankings and the FedEx cup standings, while strong finishes in major championships have solidified his reputation as one of the Tour’s most reliable competitors.

“We at Lord Abbett are thrilled to continue our partnership with Ben,” said Douglas B. Sieg, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner at Lord Abbett. “We’re proud to support him as he reaches new milestones in his career, and we wish him the very best as he represents the U.S. in the Ryder Cup.”

“I am excited to continue my partnership with Lord Abbett, whose belief in me made it possible to return to professional golf stronger than ever,” said Ben Griffin. “Their commitment and belief in me have been essential to my journey, and I’m proud to share this Ryder Cup milestone with them.”

The roots of this partnership trace back to Sieg’s early support of Griffin, long before his wins this year. It’s been a strong relationship since day one. Today marks the beginning of its next chapter as Griffin reaches new heights in his career.

Lord Abbett looks forward to continuing this journey with Griffin, especially as he steps onto the Ryder Cup stage this week.

About Ben Griffin
Ben Griffin is a two-time PGA TOUR winner, who is currently the 11th ranked player in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). He is also a member of the 2025 United States Ryder Cup team. A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Griffin excelled in high school golf and earned a scholarship to play collegiately at the University of North Carolina, where he continued to thrive. He turned professional in 2018, but briefly stepped away from the game in 2021, working as a loan mortgage officer for a North Carolina realty company. With the support of his family and trusted confidants, Griffin returned to the game, practicing tirelessly to pursue his lifelong dream of making it on the PGA TOUR. He then earned his PGA TOUR card for the first time at the end of 2022, thanks to his strong play on the Korn Ferry Tour. Since becoming a full-time PGA TOUR member, Griffin has amassed 11 top five finishes and found the winner’s circle for the first time this past season, emerging victorious at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside Andrew Novak. His first individual victory came at the Charles Schwab Challenge one month later. Griffin also performed well on the biggest stages, notching a pair of top 10 finishes at the 2025 U.S. Open and 2025 PGA Championship.
