Lord Abbett Recognized Among Top 5 Fund Families by Barron’s

The ranking highlights Lord Abbett’s long-standing approach to active management across asset classes, including equities and fixed income, supported by rigorous research and a long-term investment mindset.

Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC (“Lord Abbett”), an independent, privately held investment management firm, for the second consecutive year has been recognized by Barron’s as one of the industry’s leading fund families, earning a top-five ranking in the publication’s Best Fund Families of 2025.

“Performance that endures is built through experience, discipline, and the ability to adapt as markets evolve. We’ve built our investment platform to compete across cycles, not just quarters,” said Douglas Sieg, CEO & Managing Partner of Lord Abbett. “This recognition from Barron’s reflects the long-term mindset that guides our teams and the trust our clients place in us.”

The annual rankings evaluate mutual fund families based on performance across multiple asset classes over longer-term periods. Eligible firms offer at least three actively managed mutual funds or exchanged-traded funds in the general U.S. stock category defined by Lipper LSEG, in addition to at least one actively managed fund in both the world equity and mixed-asset categories. Firms must also provide two or more taxable bond funds and a national tax-exempt bond fund.
