Frequently Asked Questions

What is RSS?
RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is a technology that makes staying on top of new Website content easy. How? By sending you the new content directly. To receive content you need to subscribe to "feeds" or topics that interest you and any time Lord Abbett publishes something new about them your RSS reader will display it automatically.

What is an RSS reader?
An RSS reader (also called an aggregator or news reader) is a program that collects the latest news from the Websites you designate. Your personalized Google and Yahoo dashboards can act as RSS readers, and Microsoft Internet Explorer v.7 and later has built-in RSS reader functionality. You can also use a standalone reader, such as Blogline or Newsgator.

What are the benefits of RSS?
RSS feeds save you time by eliminating the need to search your favorite Websites for content that interests you. Once you have signed up to receive an RSS feed from Lord Abbett, you will automatically receive new content as it is published.

How do I get started?
You will need an RSS reader to receive RSS updates. You can find instructions on Yahoo, Google and Microsoft sites; these instructions are often indicated by an RSS icon. If you already have an RSS reader, you can simply copy the code text in the small window next to the feed you want to receive (shown above) and past it into the feeds area of your reader.

How can I get LordAbbett.com feeds?
Lord Abbett currently offers two RSS feeds related to our weekly Economic Insights publication. One feed will enable you to receive the text-based version, while the other will enable you to receive the audio (podcast) version. Refer to the instructions above to get started.

Is signing up for a podcast feed different from a regular RSS feed?
Yes. In fact, it is usually easier. Lord Abbett provides one-click sign-up for iTunes and Zune players, which are two of the simplest RSS readers available on the Web. If you have questions, please visit the Apple or Microsoft Web sites and search for RSS instructions.

What if my RSS reader isn't on the list?
We have listed only a few popular RSS readers. If your reader isn’t among them, you can still receive Lord Abbett RSS feeds. Simply copy the text in the window next to the orange icon shown above and paste this text into your reader.
