Partner, Director of Marketing |
Mike Weldon, Partner, Director of Marketing, is responsible for streamlining Lord Abbett's marketing initiatives across the firm's national sales force. He is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences, specializing in financial advisor training and practice management. In addition, Mr. Weldon is actively involved in the development of Lord Abbett's marketing materials, including sales literature and seminar presentations, and has authored several industry papers for the firm.
Mr. Weldon, who has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, joined Lord Abbett in 1997 as a Regional Manager in western Florida. In 2006, he was promoted to Director of Retail Marketing and was named Partner in 2009. Before joining Lord Abbett, he was a Senior Group Sales Representative at Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance Co.
Currently, he is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
Mr. Weldon earned an MBA from the University of Georgia, and is a holder of a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.
