Partner, Chief Compliance Officer |
James Bernaiche is a Partner and Chief Compliance Officer for Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, the Lord Abbett Family of Funds, and Lord Abbett Distributor. He was named to this post in 2004. Prior to that time, Mr. Bernaiche was Director of Compliance for Lord Abbett from the time he joined the firm in 2001. He was named Partner in 2008.
Mr. Bernaiche has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and his prior experience includes: Chief Compliance Officer at Credit Suisse Asset Management; First Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer at Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management; Senior Vice President/Director of Compliance at Concord Holding Corporation; and Director of Compliance at The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York.
Mr. Bernaiche received a BS from the University of Maine.
