Jarrod Sohosky, a Partner within Lord Abbett's Private Wealth Group, is responsible for overseeing the firm's sales distribution through the wirehouses as well as the national and regional bank channels within the western region of the United States.
Mr. Sohosky, who has more than 15 years of sales and management experience, joined Lord Abbett in 1997 on the firm's Internal Sales and Marketing Desk. He was promoted to Regional Manager, residing in Michigan and managing all wirehouse and regional broker/dealer relationships. In 2003, he was promoted to Southern Division Director, and in 2005 was named a Partner. In 2008, he took on the responsibility for the firm's outreach efforts to wirehouses and regional banks in the West.
Prior to joining the firm, he was Regional Account Manager for American Woodmark Corporation.
He is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, an industry group that educates and lobbies for standardization of reporting, analysis, and ethics in investment management. He also is a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), an industry organization committed to enhancing the public's trust and confidence in the markets.
Mr. Sohosky earned a BS in marketing from the David Glass School of Business at Missouri State University. He also is a holder of a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
