Thomas Malone is responsible for managing the business relationships and strategic efforts relating to Lord Abbett's distribution partners.
Mr. Malone, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, joined Lord Abbett in 1992. In 1993, he was named New England Regional Manager. He was named a Partner in 2002 and took on the role as Lord Abbett's Western Division Director. He served as Eastern Division Director and head of the internal sales desk from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, he assumed the role as the head of the Strategic Relationship Group.
Prior to joining Lord Abbett, Mr. Malone was a COMEX Floor Trader, and before that a Commodities Clerk at Dean Witter Reynolds. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1987.
Mr. Malone earned a BA in sociology from the State University of New York. He also is a holder of a Certified Investment Management Analyst ℠ (CIMA®) designation.
