Michael Radziemski, Partner, Chief Information Officer, is responsible for managing the firm's technology and infrastructure activities. Specifically, he oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the applications and infrastructure that enhance investment management and product performance and optimize operational efficiency throughout the firm. In 2009 and previously in 2006, the firm was awarded the CIO 100 Award for technology innovations.
Mr. Radziemski, who has more than 20 years of information technology experience, joined Lord Abbett in 2003. Prior to joining Lord Abbett, he was the global head of technology for Citigroup Asset Management's institutional asset-management business. Before that, he spent more than 12 years with Bankers Trust Company in various technology leadership roles, including supporting private banking asset management, institutional asset management, large-plan 401(k)s, and technology strategy.
He has been recognized as one of the most influential financial services IT professionals by Wall Street & Technology after appearing in its "Gold Book" in successive years. He also has been frequently quoted in this publication and in the Operations Management publication. In addition, he is chairman of the Investment Company Institute's (ICI) Technology Committee.
Mr. Radziemski earned an MS in industrial engineering from Stanford University and a BS in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.
