William Parker is Partner, Director of Institutional Sales & Client Relationship Management. He is responsible for prospecting, developing and expanding personal relationships with some of Lord Abbett's largest institutional clients. He provides clients with frequent updates on their portfolios, industry trends and thought leadership.
Mr. Parker began his career in the financial services industry in 1989. He joined Lord Abbett in 2002, and was named Partner in 2008. Previously at Lord Abbett, he was Director of Institutional Services, Director of Due Diligence, and Director of Client Portfolio Management. Before that, he was Vice President of Consultant Relations at Deutsche Asset Management; Consultant Relations Officer at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.; Senior Analyst at New England Pension Consultants; and analyst at Electric Mutual, a subsidiary of GE.
He has been an industry speaker, and has presented at events such as the Information Management Network's (IMN) Public and Consultant Roundtable, and the Mutual Fund Advisors Roundtable.
Mr. Parker earned an MBA from Salem State College and his BA from Westminster College. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Management (CAM) from Babson College.
