Bill Parker is responsible for working with institutional investors, including defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment, and foundation market segments. In this role, he provides the professional investor with in-depth portfolio updates, new investment ideas, and access to the full breadth of Lord Abbett's resources, which include intellectual capital and business-building tools.
Mr. Parker began his career in the financial services industry in 1989. He joined Lord Abbett in 2002, and was named Partner in 2008. Previously at Lord Abbett, he was Director of Client Portfolio Management, Director of Institutional Services, and Senior Director of Due Diligence. Before that, he was Vice President of Consultant Relations at Deutsche Asset Management; Consultant Relations Officer at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.; Senior Analyst at New England Pension Consultants; and analyst at Electric Mutual, a subsidiary of GE.
He has been an industry speaker, and has presented at events such as the Information Management Network's (IMN) Public and Consultant Roundtable, and the Mutual Fund Advisors Roundtable.
Mr. Parker earned an MBA from Salem State College and his BA from Westminster College. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Management (CAM) from Babson College.
