Vincent McBride, a Director and lead Portfolio Manager of the international core and value equity strategies, also contributes as a Reseach Analyst to the international small cap core equity strategy. As a senior member of the group, he is responsible for helping establish the strategy for Lord Abbett's large cap international equity funds, including the Lord Abbett International Core Equity Fund and the International Dividend Income Fund.
Mr. McBride began his career in the financial services industry in 1987. He joined Lord Abbett in 2003 to help establish the firm's international equity products, and was named a Partner in 2006. Prior to joining Lord Abbett, he worked for Warburg Pincus Asset Management/CSAM, most recently as Managing Director and the head of the International Equity Group. He also served as lead manager for several products, including the International Focus Fund, the Emerging Markets Equity Fund, and the Global Telecom and Global Technology sector funds. In prior years, he was an International Equity Analyst at Smith Barney and was part of the analytical team for GE Asset Management's International Equity Group.
Mr. McBride's perspective on the international investing markets has been featured in a number of publications, including The Wall Street Journal. He has been profiled by MarketWatch from Dow Jones, has been a special guest on CNBC and Bloomberg Television, and was a participant on the Barron's international investing roundtable. In addition, he is a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York City.
Mr. McBride earned an MBA from Rutgers University and a BS in economics from the University of Delaware.
