Portfolio Manager of International Equity

A. Edward Allinson is a Portfolio Manager for Lord Abbett's International Equities Team, specifically for the Lord Abbett International Opportunities Fund. The International Opportunities Fund focuses on the best-run companies in their respective industries, emphasizing company-specific research rather than country allocation to select attractively priced small companies with strong earnings growth potential.

Mr. Allinson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, joined Lord Abbett in 2005 from RCM Global Advisors, where he was Chief Investment Officer of Global Equities. His prior experience includes Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Mellon Growth Advisors, Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at State Street Global Advisors, and Senior Portfolio Manager at Brown Brothers Harriman and Co. Before that, he worked in the financial services industry, based in Hong Kong. His commentary and interviews have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, and Barron's and on CNN and CNBC.

Mr. Allinson received a BA in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
