Partner, Director of Investment Technology |
Dale Sang, a Partner and Director of Investment Technology, is responsible for technology strategy and implementation for Lord Abbett’s investment and research functions. He focuses on building custom applications and managing vendor systems in support of portfolio management, trading, quantitative and fundamental research areas within equities and fixed income.
Mr. Sang joined Lord Abbett in 2003 as Technical Manager of Taxable Fixed Income Technology. He was promoted to Director of Fixed Income Technology in 2006 and was named Partner in 2012. Prior to joining Lord Abbett, he worked at Bloomberg. His previous experience also includes: Chief Technology Strategist at MarketXT; Director of Technology at mConverge Inc.; Project Manager at Goldman Sachs; and Technical Associate at Electronic Data Systems. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1996.
Mr. Sang received both an MS and a BS in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
