Partner, Regional Manager, and Divisional Sales Leader, Private Wealth Group |
William M. (Michael) Welshimer, a Partner and a Regional Manager and Divisional Sales Leader within Lord Abbett's Private Wealth Group, is responsible for sales distribution to wirehouses and regional banks throughout northern Illinois and the metropolitan area of Davenport, Iowa.
Mr. Welshimer, who has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, joined Lord Abbett in 1996; he was named Partner in 2008. Previously, he worked at Edward Jones. He began his career at SunAmerica.
He earned a BS in business administration from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He also is a holder of the CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation.
